The NWSL has grown by one more team. Earlier today, Orlando City SC announced the formation of a sister club called the Orlando Pride. The NWSL Orlando team will begin play in 2016, and will be the 10th team in the league.

The Orlando Pride have announced that former USWNT (where he was replaced by current coach Jill Ellis) and Australia manager Tom Sermanni will coach the team. Orlando City joins Portland and Houston as MLS teams with NWSL affiliates.
