Everyone is rooting for Christian Eriksen to succeed, even his opponents. On Saturday the Dane got into a scuffle with Norwich’s Brandon Williams. The scuffle was instantly halted when Williams realized the guy, he was about to fight was the beloved Eriksen. The Williams Eriksen incident is sure to put a smile on any fan’s face.

Eriksen got his first start in the Premier League on Saturday during Brentford’s 3-1 victory vs. Norwich. The love for this man by the football/soccer community goes to the moon and back.
Williams also saved himself a whirlwind of backlash by trading his fists for a warm embrace. Imagine being known as the guy who punched Christian Eriksen. I imagine Williams’ thought process went something like this:
“Who the hell is this guy dragging me down?? OH HE WANTS TO TUSSLE?? ALRIGHT BUDDY IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO… oh it’s you.”
Eriksen couldn’t help but crack a smile.
The real fight for Williams and Norwich will be the relegation battle. With 11 games to go Norwich is sitting in dead last with a negative 42 goal differential.
Brentford now has a bit of breathing space and moves up to 15th, six points clear of the relegation zone.
