We understand that soccer can be an extremely frustrating game when things are not going your way. Your first touch can let you down, you can send your best chance of the game 30 yards over the bar, your teammates can refuse to pass you the ball because you sent your best chance of the game 30 yards over the bar…
The point being that sometimes, well, you just want to pick up the ball and chuck it at someone on the opposing team in anger. And, if you are a goal keeper, you can apparently pull it off in a game and not get thrown out.
We have absolutely no way of knowing, but The18 is pretty sure that this goalie is having a terrible match. If he wasn’t, he sure was after he did this:
Maybe the keeper just didn’t take too kindly to the opposing striker standing so close. Maybe his target teammate really was directly in line with that poor guy’s head. Maybe, just maybe, he simply just made a really terrible throw.
Again, we’ll never know the why, we just know the how. And for that, unknown camera man, we thank you.
