Sergio Aguero's Brother, "Kuncito," Makes Debut In Argentina

Sergio Aguero's younger brother Gaston del Castillo made his debut for Independiente on Saturday versus San Lorenzo. "Kuncito," as Argentine news outlet Ole affectionately named him, was promoted to the first team in August 2015, but he has had to wait for a while to get his first senior appearance.

The 18-year-old forward, who we have to say shares a strong resemblance to Sergio, came on in the 79th minute for the Argentinian side but could not affect the outcome in a 1-0 loss. Sergio Aguero, who uses his mother's name as opposed to Gaston who uses their father's name, "del Castillo," took to Twitter to congratulate him on his professional debut.

Sergio Aguero also made his professional debut for boyhood club Independiente at the tender age of 15 before making the switch to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2006. Since making his professional debut, he has scored an outrageous 238 goals in 441 matches throughout his career, with an additional 98 assists for good measure.

Hopefully, the debut of Gaston del Castillo is the beginning of a long and successful career. It would be unfair to expect him to match his brother's achievements, but he certainly bears enough similarities to Aguero to suggest he could be very good indeed. Don't take our word for it though. Just watch this video of a goal Gaston scored in a reserves match for Independiente. There's something eerily Aguero-esque about it. It's almost like we've seen it before.

It's the run. How many times have we seen Kun make that exact same run? It's uncanny. We'll be keeping our eye on this kid.
