If The Hottest Team In The EPL Loses Today, Leicester Can Win The Title Sunday

PFA Young Player of the Year Dele Alli and Tottenham Hotspur are about to face off against West Brom with the ultimate result of the Premier League title race at stake.

If Tottenham lose against West Brom (match starts today, April 25 at 3:00 pm EST) then Leicester City can win the Premier League this Sunday, May 1, if they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Expect Tottenham to come out guns blazing in order to make sure Leicester has to wait another week to secure the title. Tottenham have been in sizzling form over the past weeks, scoring seven goals in their last two matches, and are likely to brush aside 14th place West Brom with ease.

Outside of the title implications, the match's main draw is the Spurs attack. Every time Dele Alli, Harry Kane or Christian Ericksen get on the ball, every time Tottenham counter attacks, you expect to see something effective.

I don’t mean to say that Spurs have been utilitarian and boring, I mean to say that they have been spitting hot fire and then walking off the field saying “I’m not a footballer.

There was the three goal flurry against Manchester United that turned a game into a result in seven minutes. There was Dele Alli’s incredible miss against Stoke that was completely forgotten about because Spurs ended up scoring four goals, the last of which was Alli, finishing a beautiful passing move with the confidence of Zidane. Before that there was Alli opening the scoring against Stoke after a ridiculous first time through ball by Erickson. It all has been footballing bliss.

I’m an Arsenal and I’m not even mad, that’s how good they have been. Besides, it’s not like they are actually going to win the league . . . right?
