Brazil, the land of Samba, is the birthplace of the football style known as "Joga Bonito." "Play beautiful." Brazil, supposedly, is where the beautiful game is at its most beautiful. It's where sport becomes art, where substance and style are one and the same, where the field is a canvass, and the feet are the paintbrushes.

Well, then, it's not exactly the Brazilian National Team freestyling its way through an airport, is it? It's more along the lines of what actually happens when people go to an airport.
In a way, this own goal does represent Joga Bonito, but in a completely different way. Failing so hard you can't fail any harder is its own kind of beauty, and we can appreciate it as much as any rainbow flick or rabona or Panenka.
