Everyone thought Tuesday's Champions League match between Wolfsburg and Real Madrid was exciting: fans, journalists, players, etc. One man, though, stood above the rest in freaking out about the sheer excitement of Madrid's 3-0 victory that erased a 2-0 aggregate deficit and earned them a place in the semifinals: Zinedine Zidane.
Yes, that Zidane. The same Zidane that won everything there is to win in soccer. The same Zidane who could do things with a soccer ball we hadn't seen before and haven't seen since.
Zidane, now Real Madrid's manager, got a little too excited on the touchline and, well, just look what he did.
This was not expected. Zidane is a very suave man. You have to be to manage a club with Cristiano Ronaldo on it, otherwise it won't work (Rafa Benitez). Just look at his suit. This is not the type of man who eviscerates his trousers on a regular basis.
With that in mind we have a song we'd like to play for Zidane, to help remind him that no girl ever wants to dance with a fool who went and ripped his pants.
