Wrexham have been Hollywood gold in their first four games of League 2, the fourth tier of English soccer. The Welsh club have scored more goals than any other club in the league with 13. They’ve also conceded more than any other club… also 13.
On Saturday Wrexham had an insane comeback vs. Swindon Town for a 5-5 draw. The Red Dragons scored twice in stoppage time to earn a point.

Thing were looking ugly early on for those in attendance at the Racecourse Ground as Swindon scored four goals in the span of 17 minutes. (One in the 17th minute, 27th, 31st and 34th).
Star goalkeeper Ben Foster won’t want to remember the game as Swindon scored on five of their six shots on target.
Jake Bickerstaff scored the lone goal in the first half for Wrexham. This was his first-ever league goal for Wrexham. His effort made the score line 2-1, but Swindon very quickly made it 4-1.
Wrexham lived by the motto of “never back down, never give up” and mounted an insane second half comeback. Two goals in the opening 10 minutes of the second half got them back on track with Elliot Lee and James Jones scoring.

With the score at 4-3 it looked like the comeback was on until Swindon made it 5-3 in the 71st minute.
Wrexham wouldn't quit and were relentless with 28 shots to Swindon’s eight.
When the clock hit 90 minutes Wrexham still trailed 5-3 and it looked like defeat was on the menu. Then Lee and James did the unthinkable and scored stoppage time goals to make it 5-5.

Wrexham have played their first four League 2 games without their big star Paul Mullin. The 28-year-old suffered a punctured lung and four cracked ribs after a nasty collision during a preseason friendly vs. Manchester United.
Despite not having their striker who scored 47 goals last season, Wrexham have five points from four games and sit 15th in the table.
They’ve proven they can score goals. With Mullin expected to rejoin the squad in the coming weeks the Red Dragons will be looking to make the next season of “Welcome to Wrexham” a special one.
