FIFA 17 was released on September 27, 2016, giving players just over a month now to work on mastering the new version of the EA Sports soccer simulation. Some players have already gone beyond mastery level, bending the rules and laws of the game to score on bicycle kicks from 25 yards out.
This is why I never play online. I would throw my controller through the television screen if someone scored any one of these goals against me. They’re skillful as all hell, no doubt, requiring mastery of the controls, timing and an understanding of how things go down. But they’re also so unrealistic that just watching them makes me feel sorry for the teams that are being scored on.
If you’ve reached this level, congratulations. You are the champion, and we’re all in awe. It’s probably time to invest in a new game or pay attention to your significant other again…we’re talking to you, Ciro Immobile.
