Thomas Muller Avoided The Press In The Most Genius Way Imaginable

I know what you're thinking and no, Thomas Muller was not dressed up in a disguise or protected by a security guard.

So how did the Bayern Munich player successfully avoid the awaiting press contingent at the airport? All he did was talk on the phone!

The funny thing is...his phone was really his passport. Take a look at the video:

Christian Pulisic Starts Off 2017 With A Bang

Christian Pulisic’s 2017 is off to a fine start after the 18-year-old American scored in Borussia Dortmund’s friendly victory over PSV Eindhoven during the Bundesliga’s winter break.

Yeah, it was only a friendly, but scoring a goal against Champions League opposition still probably means more than taking it to the Colorado Rapids.

Pulisic scored off a Andre Schurrle cutback for Dortmund’s fourth goal in their 4-1 victory.

RB Leipzig Submit £6 Million Bid For Obvious Metaphor Matty Cash

People in Germany are very mad about RB Leipzig because, to them, RB Leipzig are everything that is wrong with a soccer world that is growing increasingly corporate.

Basically, Red Bull bought a lower-division German club and put a bunch of money into it, turning it into a monster overnight. Oh, and they renamed it after their company. That club now sits second in the Bundesliga and gets called soulless by fans who form the T-Mobile logo in the stands during home games.

Bayern Destroy Leipzig, Remind Everyone They Are Still Bayern

No one saw RB Leipzig's season coming. The newly-promoted, corporation-owned club found themselves level on points with mighty Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga heading into their match Wednesday.

Julian Green Set To Leave Bayern Munich For Stuttgart In January

After three years with Bayern Munich, and one on loan at Hamburger SV, Julian Green is set to leave the Bavarian giants in January with the hopes of becoming a first-team regular at Stuttgart.

Douglas Costa’s 37-Yard Laser Was Straight From A Comic Book

Bayern Munich were only 20 minutes away from dropping points against Darmstadt 98 on Sunday, the team at the bottom of the Bundesliga. With RB Leipzig continuing their breakneck start to the season, Brazilian winger Douglas Costa’s 71st-minute strike was as sensational as it was important.

From all of 37 yards, the 26-year-old broke Darmstadt’s brave resistance with an absolute laser that crashed in off the underside of the crossbar.

Munich will now host Leipzig on Wednesday with both clubs level on points at the top of the table.

American Striker Bobby Wood Scored A Screamer For Hamburger SV

It’s been a difficult debut season in the Bundesliga for USMNT striker Bobby Wood. His team, Hamburger SV, are the only club to have played in every season of the Bundesliga since its foundation, but they’ve spent the entire season mired at the bottom of the table.

With only 10 points from 15 matches, Hamburger’s struggles have been mirrored in Wood’s play. The American hadn’t scored since September 10, but he finally scored his third goal of the season against Mainz on Saturday.

Watching This Ref Hand Out 5 Cards In 12 Seconds Will Make You Power Hungry

Saturday’s match between Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig and relegation-threatened FC Ingolstadt was remarkable in that the team at the bottom pulled off a highly improbable 1-0 upset.

What was exceedingly exceptional was what transpired in second half stoppage time. Referee Markus Schmidt, who’d apparently just put down Niccolo Machiavelli’s The Prince before running out to officiate this match, showed that it is indeed safer to be feared than loved.

Adorable Little Mascot Ruthlessly Dabs On Opposing Goalkeeper

Oh no.

Heidenheim goalkeeper Kevin Muller has been roasted, burned to a crisp by a young mascot. Before Heidenheim played Hannover in the German 2. Bundesliga last Friday, Muller was dabbed on.

Muller just wanted a handshake. Instead he got the dab. This is what you get for trying to be polite. Kids these days. No respect.

To add injury to insult, Muller ended up leaving the game with a cut on his neck. It wasn't as bad as it looked, but Muller ended up with 13 stitches and some very wounded pride.
