José Mourinho mistakes Lyon staff member as the manager and shakes his hand

Mourinho followed the tradition of shaking hands with the opposing manager of the final whistle, however, accidentally shook the hand of Lyon’s physio, Abdeljelil Redissi.

Redissi looked a little confused before pointing Mourinho in the right direction toward Lyon’s actual head coach, Pierre Sage.

Watch: Millwall player gets creative and scores header while on the ground

A Millwall headed goal from the ground was one of the funniest highlights of the FA Cup’s Third Round. On Monday Millwall defeated fifth-tier Dagenham and Redbridge FC 3-0 with their opening goal being one of the more creative you’ll ever see.

In the 30th minute Millwall striker Mihailo Ivanovic had an effort from close range denied by the goalkeeper. The 20-year-old had fallen to the ground when taking his shot. Ivanovic was still on his hands and knees when the rebound trickled back toward him.

What came next might be the lowest header of the year.

Oscar ends 8-year stay in China, remember when he blasted the ball into his opponents?

Former Chelsea star and Brazil international Oscar will be departing China after playing with Shanghai Port for the past eight years. The 33-year-old announced his farewell on Tuesday and will reunite with his boyhood club in São Paulo.

We’ll be completely honest and say that we didn’t watch too many Chinese Super League games in the past decade. One moment we do remember fondly was Oscar giving absolutely no fucks and just lasering the ball into his opponents.

Phil Foden pulling down an opponent’s shorts perfectly reflects how Man City’s season is going

Manchester City failed to win again on Thursday with a 1-1 draw against Everton that saw Phil Foden pulling shorts down on opponents in another lackluster performance.

Thursday’s result means that Pep Guardiola’s side have won just one of their last THIRTEEN games across all competitions. It’s a poor run of form never seen from Pep’s City teams over the previous years.

One moment from Thursday’s draw that provided an accurate representation of City’s current situation was Foden clinging on to Armando Broja’s shorts for dear life.

Watch: Lisandro Martínez tells Son to hurry up taking a corner kick, then Son scores Olimpico

Tottenham’s 4-3 victory vs. Manchester United in the EFL Cup on Thursday was full of bizarre moments. No instance was better than the Lisandro Martínez Son corner kick drama in the final minutes of the game.

With Spurs leading 3-2, the South Korean superstar was taking his time walking over to the corner flag for a set piece. Martínez, to the displeasure of the home crowd, went over and told Son to hurry up.

The United defender would instantly regret telling Son to get on with the corner kick as the Spurs forward then scored directly from the set piece.

Brighton demand that lower-tier Croatian copycat club change their crest

A third-tier Croatian club have ruffled the feathers of Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion due to having a VERY similar looking crest. NK Jadran Galeb compete in Croatia and adopted a familiar look for the club’s logo.

The story gets funnier. Allegedly a member of the Croatian club visited the Brighton offices in England and informed them of the similarity between the clubs. The person in question then metaphorically swung for the fences and asked if Brighton would donate to NK Jadran Galeb in the form of equipment.
