MUNICH — Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane scored his first Bundesliga hat-trick and delivered two assists in their 7-0 demolition of VfL Bochum on Saturday to take his tally to seven and set a club record for most goals by a player in his first five league matches.

Kane's three goals put him above club great Gerd Müller, Miroslav Klose and Mario Mandzukic who all scored five times in their first five Bundesliga games.

Brenden Aaronson was given a red card in bizarre fashion on Saturday during Union Berlin’s 4-1 victory vs. Darmstadt.

In his second Bundesliga start with Union Berlin he had a nightmare of a day. It started off rough as he received a yellow card in the first five minutes for a high boot.

This card was debatable for being so early in the game but not too controversial.

Aaronson’s second yellow card was truly strange as the referee sent him off in the 21st minute for kicking the ball away after play was stopped.

BREMEN — Bayern Munich's record signing Harry Kane scored once and set up another goal on his Bundesliga debut to steer the champions to a 4-0 victory at Werder Bremen on Friday and a winning start to their league season.

England captain Kane, who joined for a league record $108.68 million last week to solve Bayern's scoring problems, slotted their second goal in the 74th minute after setting up Leroy Sane for a fourth-minute opener.
