Paris Saint-Germain won their first Champions League title in style on Saturday with a dazzling 5-0 victory against Inter Milan full of world class moments. One highlight we loved was a fantastic Ousmane Dembélé backheel vs Inter that sprung the attack for PSG’s third goal.

In the 63rd minute the Frenchman was being closed down by two defenders and escaped the pressure with a perfect layoff to Vitinha. The clever move opened up the Inter defense and Vitinha slipped the ball through to Désiré Doué who finished coolly.

Paris Saint-Germain captain Marquinhos knows what it is like to lose a Champions League final and is not going to let a second chance slip without a fight when they face Inter Milan in Munich, the Brazilian defender said on Friday.

Marquinhos was a member of the PSG side which lost the 2020 final to Bayern Munich, but has the opportunity for redemption as the club look to secure their first Champions League trophy on Saturday.

Argentine forward Ángel Di Maria will return to his homeland to play for his boyhood club Rosario Central, the Argentine Primera Division club announced on Thursday.

"Our history together has more pages to write. Welcome home," the Rosario-based club said alongside a video posted on Twitter.

Luka Modric will leave Real Madrid after the Club World Cup, the Croatian midfielder said on Thursday as the club's most successful player and the 2018 Ballon d'Or winner prepares to end a trophy-laden stint in Spain.

FIFA president Gianni Infantino is building the hype around next year’s World Cup promising that the tournament will be equivalent to “104 Super Bowls” in a month.

The expanded 48-team tournament will be the biggest World Cup in history. In the previous 32-team editions there were a total of 64 games played. In 2026 there will be 104 different games played in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Infantino appeared on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” and explained how the viewership numbers of the World Cup will be that of “104 Super Bowls.”

Real Madrid overturned a two-goal deficit against Real Sociedad to reach the Copa del Rey final after an extra-time header by substitute Antonio Rüdiger secured a barnstorming 4-4 draw on Tuesday for a 5-4 aggregate win.
