The United States women’s national team will go on a month-and-a-half hiatus following a spring that saw them lift the inaugural Concacaf W Gold Cup and their seventh SheBelieves Cup. We’d say we’ve seen enough for a USWNT Olympic roster prediction.

Incoming USWNT head coach Emma Hayes will need to narrow the roster to 18 names for the Paris Olympics. She’ll have watched both tournaments and have a solid idea of who deserves to go.

Twila Kilgore won’t go down as a legendary USWNT head coach — but she still did a damn good job

Twila Kilgore’s time as interim head coach of the United States women’s national team has come to an end following the SheBelieves Cup triumph vs. Canada. 

Current Chelsea boss Emma Hayes will coach the next USWNT game which will be a friendly vs. South Korea on June 1.

Kilgore finishes her eight-month tenure with a Concacaf W Gold Cup title, a SheBelieves Cup title and a national team with renewed hope.

The18’s Copa América power rankings — Spring edition

The March international break recently finished which means it’s time for The18’s latest Copa América power rankings. The big tournament is only about three months out!

Two Concacaf teams secured the final two qualification spots with Canada and Costa Rica booking their tickets for this summer’s big event.

Carli Lloyd says no one fears USWNT anymore following defeat to Mexico

Former United States women’s national team captain Carli Lloyd never shies away from criticizing the current team and gave her opinion following the stunning Gold Cup loss to Mexico on Monday.

Mexico did the unthinkable and ended their 16-game losing streak vs. the USWNT and handed the U.S. their first loss to a Concacaf opponent on home soil since Nov. 11, 2000.
