Liverpool and Manchester United were treated to a very special, very furry guest Monday at Anfield. 

Jurgen Klopp is dope and good and cool, and he got even more dope and good and cool when he buried this blindfolded penalty.

You have to be on your toes at all times when you're around Jurgen Klopp. No wonder Liverpool are four for four on penalties this season.

Liverpool has followed the examples of Tottenham and Southampton by enforcing a wage cap of £40,000-per-year on 17-year-old youth professionals according to a report by the Telegraph. 

The policy aims to combat the "too much, too young" culture in the Premier League that has seen financial incentives for youth products rise to ridiculous proportions.

Liverpool played Hull on Saturday, but really "play" is the wrong word, because there was nothing playful about how hard they ran and scrapped and clawed whenever Hull had the ball.

Let's try again: Liverpool worked Hull on Saturday, both in terms of destroying Hull on the scoreboard and working all game, both with and without the ball.

One of the most fun things about the EFL Cup is when big clubs get upended by Championship and lower-level clubs, like Everton going down to Norwich City earlier today. Watching giants get humbled by minnows is a delight to everyone not a fan of that particular giant, and it's of particular amusement to fans of giants that made it through to the next round.
