EA SPORTS FC 24 Ultimate Edition cover revealed with 31 players

EA SPORTS FC 24 is only a couple months away from its rumored release date, and this week offers our first major glimpse at the franchise formerly known as FIFA — beginning with Monday's release of an official announce trailer (voiced by Daniel Kaluuya).

I'm also just now realizing that EA SPORTS is attempting to get us to transition from saying "FIFA" to "FC," which is pretty smart marketing. So here's our first look at FC 24.

No more FIFA: First look at EA SPORTS FC on July 13 along with playable demo

Billed as "the next chapter in The World's Game," the hype surrounding Electronic Arts' latest edition of its beloved soccer video game has never been greater, and that's all driven by the shift from what was expected (FIFA 24) to a brave new world of licensing (EA SPORTS FC).

Can the USWNT win the World Cup with Danny DeVito at CB? We use FIFA 23 to find out

LaLiga joins the growing list of rebrands gone horribly wrong

The old LaLiga logo wasn't perfect. It was guilty of what I consider a cardinal sin: containing that damn generic soccer ball that's way too heavy-handed in getting its point across.

But LaLiga had established a powerful brand identity with its iconic color wheel over the past 30 years, and when news broke of an all-new LaLiga logo for the 2023-24 season, the initial thought was concerning how the league would reimagine and update the famous design while retaining some sense of history.

FIFA 23 competitor releases impressive new gameplay video

Is 2023 the year we finally, finally feel the winds of competition start to blow across the landscape of soccer video games? For far too long FIFA has stood virtually unopposed as the sole proprietor of allowing us to live out our dreams of hitting the post five times in three seconds.

NWSL players in disbelief over how bad some of their FIFA 23 characters look

The National Women’s Soccer League getting added to EA Sports’ FIFA video game series felt too good to be true. The long overdue addition of the American league to the game took place on March 15.

It’s been a week since the update and players aren’t thrilled about how poorly they look in the game. Several players have taken to Twitter to show off just how bad the animations turned out.

The issues range from some player appearing much whiter in the game than in real life to being bald. Yikes EA.
