Coutinho's Filthy Chip Sends Liverpool to the Europa League Quarterfinals

Liverpool are on to the Europa League quarterfinals, but it wasn't always a for sure thing when Manchester United scored from the spot to make it 2 - 1 on aggregate. With Manchester United up 1 - 0 and looking for a second to tie on aggregate, Liverpool's Coutinho scored a world class goal that took a great deal of skill. A Man U Fan Paid More Than $100 To Watch The Europa League From What Appeared To Be Jail

A stir was caused today by the pricing of Manchester United's away tickets for their Europa League game against Danish side FC Midtjylland, and the location of the tickets. Okay, maybe his goal shouldn't be on the Puskas watchlist, but it was clinical and it deceived everyone involved, including himself. But we're just going to pretend that he planned the entire thing and that is was the best goal of the year.

Journalist Rasim Aliyev of Azerbaijan was killed after being beaten by a fan for criticizing Javid Huseynov, also of Azerbaijan.

According to the BBC, Aliyev accused Huseynov of being "immoral" and "ill-bred" in a Facebook post after Huseynov made a crude gesture at a reporter who asked why Huseynov waved a Turkish flag at the supporters of a team from Cyprus. The gesture came following a Europa League qualifier between Gabala FC and Apollon Limassol.
