Here are the Americans that will play in the Premier League for the 2023-24 season

As the 2023-24 Premier League season approaches and players continue to transfer to new clubs it’s time to answer the all-important question. How many Americans play in the Premier League?

Here’s a list of the Americans expected to get some minutes in the EPL next season.

Club by club review of the Premier League season

LONDON - Manchester City won their third straight Premier League crown after Arsenal's title challenge collapsed, big-spending Chelsea could only finish in mid-table and 2016 champions Leicester City were relegated.

Following is a summary of the campaigns of the 20 top-flight clubs, listed in order of their final positions.

Your guide to understanding and enjoying the Premier League Relegation Battle Royale

Premier League relegation is a simple concept: Your team was not good enough this season so they, and two other teams, have to drop down to the tier below (the Championship) and will play their games there next season. Conversely, the Championship will promote three teams to the Premier League to take their places (let’s not get into the playoffs). This toing and froing happens all the way down the league structure.

What's better than getting your first signature boot? Scoring and celebrating with it

There was a standout moment during Crystal Palace's incredible 5-1 victory over Leeds United on Sunday that I failed to notice — I think I was too busy trying to comprehend Leeds' total capitulation — but now register as one of the best goal celebrations of the 2022-23 season.

Leeds suffer unbelievable collapse in 5-1 defeat to relegation rivals

Leeds United suffered a monumental collapse on Sunday afternoon, leading 1-0 after 45 minutes but ultimately losing 5-1 to Crystal Palace at Elland Road. The stadium was half-empty at the full-time whistle after Leeds' unreal capitulation, and the remaining supporters only stayed to let the players know the extent of their embarrassment.

Arsenal just 10 games from the title after laying waste to Crystal Palace

Arsenal comfortably dispatched Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Emirates on Sunday to open up an eight-point lead on Manchester City heading into March's international break. The Gunners are now just 10 tantalizing matches away from a first Premier League title in 19 years.

The main concern for Mikel Arteta was how his side would respond to Thursday's shock Europa League elimination to Sporting and that 46-yard Pedro Gonçalves worldie. It's still worth another watch.

Patrick Vieira sacked as Crystal Palace manager after 12-straight games without a win

LONDON — Crystal Palace sacked manager Patrick Vieira after 20 months in charge on Friday following the 1-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion that left the south London club three points above the Premier League relegation zone.

Palace are the only side in the league without a win in 2023, having drawn five and lost six of their games. Their last league victory came on Dec. 31, 2-0 at Bournemouth, and they are 12th on 27 points with 11 games to play.

American hero Tim Ream scores his first Premier League goal

It’s finally happened. Tim Ream scored his first-ever Premier League goal on Monday as Fulham ran riot over Crystal Palace. He is the man. He is the moment. God bless Tim Ream.

It took the St. Louis native 63 Premier League appearances to find the back of the net, and boy, did he put everything behind it.

This U.S. map of most-viewed soccer teams by state is wild and defies logic

FBref.com last week published a map of its most-viewed soccer teams by state in 2022 and the results show the incredibly varied interests across the United States.

Across the 50 states there were teams represented from the English Premier League, MLS, La Liga, USL, NWSL, the EFL Championship, the English fifth-tier National League – and the U.S. national team.

“There were definitely some surprises,” Jonah Gardner, product marketing manager for FBref, told The18 in an email.
