Aston Villa will be disappointed with their 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday, however an unbelievable Emiliano Martínez save was one big highlight they can smile about.
In the 60th minute with the score tied at 0-0 Martínez seemingly broke the laws of physics with an unreal save. Nottingham Forest’s Nicolás Domínguez thought for certain he’d scored the opening goal with a close-range header but was denied by the paw of Martínez.

How did he pull that one off?
Thank goodness we live in the era of goal line technology or else we totally could see that being counted as a goal in the old days. Just about everyone in the City Ground stadium thought that header was going to be a goal.
The game got even better for Villa three minutes later when Jhon Durán found the back of the net yet again with a lovely goal.
WHAT A HEADER BY JHON DURAN!

A victory would’ve seen Villa jump to fourth in the Premier League table, however Forest are on a magical run this season and produced some holiday heroics with two goals in the final minutes.
