Tigres are champions once more after playing their third consecutive Liga MX final. This time was particularly special, as they beat rivals Monterrey in the final.
Some of the major disappointments this season were Club América, who lost all their attacking efficiency; Chivas, who failed miserably after becoming champions last summer and Cruz Azul, who have gone 20 years without winning the league title.
And finally Monterrey. Even though Rayados had a great regular season, losing the final at their home stadium is something that will haunt them for a while.
