Cristiano Ronaldo finally looks like his old self. Not old like he looks like an old man. That's what he looked like earlier in the season. Now he looks the Cristiano Ronaldo of old.
Ronaldo scored his first La Liga hat trick of the season Saturday, and even added an assist for good measure, in Real Madrid's 5-2 win over Real Sociedad. That brings his La Liga goal tally to 11 on the season, which is probably not as many as Ronaldo would like to have, but still nothing to blow your nose at.
Real Madrid are probably too far behind Barcelona to make any real challenge for La Liga, but if they catch fire and Barcelona hit a slump, it would be fun to watch them try.
