We’re less than a week away from the North American release date of FIFA 17, and EA Sports is cranking up the anticipation levels to 11 with the debut of the official television spot for the game.
It’s an advertisement you’re sure to see a fair amount of times over the coming months, but we don’t think you’ll be bothered by that. In many ways, it’s a sort of homage to Manchester United with “The Journey’s” main character, the fictional Alex Hunter, sporting United’s famous red.
There’s also appearances from Eden Hazard and James Rodriguez, but the chills come from the insane fixation on the smallest of details from EA’s FIFA team and the crowd noise. Anytime this commercial starts to roll, we're guessing you'll be turning the volume up.
They’ve come extremely close to capturing what it must feel like to emerge from the tunnel to a cacophony of noise alongside the world’s best.
