Zlatan Calls Chelsea Players Babies

If you watched the Chelsea - Paris St-Germain game yesterday, you’ll surely remember the red card that sent Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the locker room early for his mis-timed challenge on Oscar. For those that need a quick reminder here it is:

At The18, we would rather have seen the referee pull a yellow card for the Swede, but red was the harsh reality for Zlatan. Despite being down to 10-men for the remainder of the match, PSG still advanced to the round of 8 thanks to Brazilians David Luiz and Thiago Silva.

After the match, a suited-up Zlatan was interviewed about the events that transpired on the pitch and was obviously asked about the red card that will force him to sit for at least one more Champions League match. Zlatan was nothing short of typical Zlatan:

Ah, Zlatan keeping it real is the best. Thanks to the internet there were quite a few memes depicting exactly what Ibra said:

Chelsea captain John Terry responded to Zlatan’s comments about Blues player surrounding the referee, saying “Every side is as bad as each other. It's part of the game.” He went on to say that PSG players had done the same thing earlier and that, "Once they're charging the ref, the only thing we can do is respond.”

One thing is for certain, the call was incorrect; however, it did provide us with some comic relief - at least, for the non Chelsea fans among us.
