Which Team Has The Best Chance Of Signing Paul Pogba?

Paul Pogba

Current Club: Juventus

Height: 6’3

Age: 23

Apps / Goals: 176 / 31

Position: Central Midfield

Chance he goes to Manchester United: 9%

Paul Pogba spent some time of his youth career making a name for himself in Manchester United’s youth squad. When it came time to make a name for himself in the senior side he never got the call and left for his current club, Juventus, on a free transfer. Since the French international left Manchester, United has gone from a world class squad full of top tier players to a mid-table club clawing its way into the top five.

Pogba would need not only a huge weekly wage as well as European football preferably Champions League.

Real Madrid: 22%

Former World Player of the Year and current Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane (who has named Pogba as a top target of his own) and three time Ballon d’Or winner and current winger Cristiano Ronaldo are confirmed idols of Paul Pogba.

They could very easily lure him to the Santiago Bernabeu and easily pay his wage rates. Playing alongside such world-class players as Benzema, Ronaldo, James, and Bale would really bring out the best in Pogba, as it would with any player.

Barcelona: 19%

With one of the most prolific midfields and styles of play known to football, Barcelona is the place to go to become the best midfielder in the game and fill your trophy cabinet at the same time. Messi, who is widely regarded as one of the best players on the planet, is the one player Pogba dreams of playing alongside, which could really push Barcelona over the top as favorites to sign the young French midfielder.

The La Liga giants aren’t afraid to splash their cash to get the players who will complete their team and win them titles.

Chelsea: 11%

With a poor run of form throughout this season and an inconsistent managerial role, Chelsea seem like a very unlikely place for Pogba to end up. On the other hand, they have a lot of potential within their squad, could be very good in the long run, and Pogba could be that missing puzzle piece. Of course money is no object when it comes to Roman Abramovich, so the French midfielder would be very well paid for his services.

But Pogba may have to wait for Champions League play, and may even have to play in Europa League, as the London club is currently 10th in the table, which could really hinder their chances of signing Pogba.

Paris Saint Germain: 19%

With a reported £228 million in a transfer war chest as well as an astonishing £5. million in wages, PSG could outbid any team who may feel the urge sign the French phenom, and would offer him the chance to take his abilities to his home country and fill his trophy cabinet.

While PSG haven’t had any success in the Champions League, they are very successful on the domestic side of things and Pogba could be what they need to finally lift that coveted Champions League trophy.

Manchester City: 20%

Pep Guardiola, one of the most decorated managers the game has ever seen and the man who “reinvented football,” is set to take over from Manuel Pellegrini at the Etihad Stadium. Pep will be looking to build a team he believes will be successful on all fronts, and that will take money, which City’s owners are willing to fork over.

Having a team built around him and have a hefty weekly wage could very well bring Pogba to Manchester. Not to mention he can punish Manchester United for not giving him the chance he so rightfully deserved, and show them what they lost out on.

Pogba has the unique option to pick any top team he wants because they all want him, no matter what club he goes to he is going to have a starting spot and a very nice paycheck, who will he choose?
