You Will Not Believe These Real Madrid Vs PSG Resale Ticket Prices

According to Marca, Real Madrid vs PSG ticket resale prices have reached stratospheric amounts for their Champions League matchup on Feb. 14 at Santiago Bernabeu.

Resale apps such as StubHub show prices ranging from €300 (around $373 USD) to the staggering amount of — wait for it — €24,OOO (close to $29,900 USD).

Not only is this impressive, it is also illegal.

Real Madrid's CEO Florentino Pérez has stated resale will not be tolerated at Santiago Bernabeu.

Moreover, Real Madrid has announced that in an effort to prevent and discourage resale, people attending Santiago Bernabeu will be required to present the ticket on their mobile phones. However, resale has a way of finding its way around restrictions like this.

On a different note: Who pays that kind of money for a soccer game? We don't know. But fact is at least tickets are being offered at those inimaginable prices.

The fixture against PSG is crucial to Los Blancos and boss Zinedine Zidane. Real Madrid were unbelievably eliminated in Copa del Rey by Leganés in January and have virtually no chance of catching Barcelona in La Liga.

The Champions League is the last chance for Los Blancos if they want to compensate for their failure in local competitions. Therefore, beating PSG is of the utmost importance if Real Madrid dreams of saving a quite disastrous season so far.

Perhaps this helps explain why tickets have reached such unreasonable prices. Don't get me wrong, entertainment is guaranteed when Real Madrid hosts Paris Saint-Germain on February 14.

Facing Neymar's PSG can both spark a light of hope or utterly condemn Los Blancos and Zidane.

However, the true question is: What would you rather do with $24,000 on Valentine's Day?
