For the last four days, Argentina’s national team has been training at Manchester City’s Etihad Campus in preparation for tomorrow’s friendly against Italy at the City of Manchester Stadium. Accordingly, resident Citizens Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi have been showing the likes of Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Higuain, Angel Di Maria and Javier Mascherano around.
The Manchester City social team has been all over it.

On Thursday, Aguero and Messi surprised the club’s U-7 and U-8 teams by showing up at training. Can you just imagine what this moment must’ve been like for these kids? I guarantee you we’ll be reading about one of them in 10 years’ time after they’ve scored on their City senior debut, and they’ll say, “My inspiration was when Lionel Messi visited our training session when I was seven. That was the best day of my life.”
