Hulk Scored A Goal So You Know It's Amazing

Every now and then, with pretty routine frequency, we come across the latest exploits of Brazilian striker Hulk in Asia. Whether they’re in the Chinese Super League or the Asian Champions League, they’re always unreal goals, and I’m beginning to doubt their authenticity.

This is mainly my own problem — I don’t watch the CSL or AFC Champions League. I would think that these competitions go down during the witching hour in the United States, and I’m asleep. I’m not sure there’s a television provider here either. Basically, Hulk must be to me what Sebastian Giovinco in MLS is to my Asian doppelgänger. Those two are just a cut above their respective competition, and it’s almost as if these scenarios are beautifully choreographed, rehearsed, staged and filmed.

Shanghai SIPG made it three wins from three AFC Champions League matches by defeating Urawa Red Diamonds on Wednesday, with Hulk battling through their entire backline and finishing beneath the goalkeeper.

He’s probably the best player that I’ve never seen play, and that’s the highest compliment I can bestow on him. Until next time, which will be 1-3 weeks from now.
