Houston Dynamo Return Home Saturday With Proceeds Benefitting Harvey Relief

Houston is trying to return to normal and the Dynamo are returning to Houston. After a two-and-a-half-week layoff, the Houston Dynamo are back at BBVA Compass Stadium on Saturday with a match against Colorado, with proceeds going to Hurricane Harvey relief.

The Dynamo will have a number of promotions to support Houston’s rebuilding process.

  • For each ticket sold, $5 will go to Harvey relief.
  • All gates at the stadium will be accepting items for the Kroger Food Drive.
  • For each Push 4 Playoffs 4 Pack sold for $96, $20 will be donated to Harvey relief.
  • For each Papa John’s 4 Pack sold for $100, $20 will be donated to Harvey relief.

While the Dynamo were on forced hiatus (a home match against Sporting KC on Aug. 26 was moved to October), BBVA Compass Stadium turned into collection site for donations and was filled to capacity

During their prolonged absence, the Dynamo fell to fifth in the tightly contested MLS Western Conference after rising to the top of the standings as recently as Aug. 12. Houston will play five of its final eight matches to finish the season at home, where the Dynamo are unbeaten with nine wins in 12 matches.
