One player who found himself in that exact situation decided the occasion warranted a selfie with the French legend. Zidane was happy to oblige, but the referee did not take kindly to the picture, and booked the offender.
We assume the card was yellow because of the player's reaction to it. The card doesn't appear to be yellow in the video.
In the end, what's one yellow card in exchange for a lasting image of you and one of the greatest footballers ever on the same pitch? We would have done the exact same thing.
