Atlanta United Complete Trade For Darlington Nagbe

As if Atlanta's offense wasn't good enough already.

Atlanta United are officially terrifying. After an impressive first season in Major League Soccer, Tata Martino's team has gotten even better with Wednesday's addition of former Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe.

The USA international is one of the best creative midfielders in MLS, and will make an Atlanta United attack that already features the likes of Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron even more vicious.

Nagbe, Portland's first-ever MLS draft pick, was shipped to Atlanta in exchange for $650,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) for the upcoming season, $100,000 in GAM for the following season, $350,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) for the upcoming season and an international spot for next season.

Reportedly, that is a record amount of allocation money, but Nagbe is the type of player who makes those kinds of amounts worthwhile. Consistently one of the best players in MLS, Nagbe can play anywhere in the midfield or on the wing.

Nothing left to do but welcome Darlington Nagbe to Atlanta, where parties don't stop 'til eight in the morning.
