Bob Bradley Is No Longer The First American Manager In The Premier League

Bob Bradley is now the former manager of Swansea City after the club announced his firing Tuesday.

Bradley, the first American to manage a Premier League club, lasted just 11 games. In those 11 games, he went 2-2-7 and gave up 29 goals, which means that another American probably isn't coaching in the Premier League for a while unless David Wagner can get Huddersfield town promoted.

Bradley is probably a better manager than his record suggests (Swansea's first team is deeply awful and pretty much devoid of actual talent), but, based on Swansea's new owners' track record in firing managers, the writing was on the wall.

Swansea's next manager will probably be Ryan Giggs (or maybe, dare we say, Jurgen Klinsmann), and they will probably get relegated (unless they go real big in the January transfer window) and he will probably be fired when that happens.

As for Bradley, maybe Le Havre will take him back. The MLS would also be an inviting destination. He'll have options, is what we're saying, and probably more options than the team that just fired him.
