Atletico Madrid fans might think French striker Antoine Griezmann is a superhero, but he hasn't had a chance to show that until now.
Griezmann, 25, will reportedly portray Superman in the French-language version of The Lego Batman Movie, due out on February 8. He announced his role in a video on his Facebook page.
The striker just might be faster than a speeding bullet, but we doubt he's more powerful than a locomotive. He's kind of wiry. As for the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, we've yet to be convinced. You'd think he'd score on every corner kick if that was the case.
PSG's Blaise Matuidi will reportedly be in the movie too, as The Flash.
