Every Big-Name Star David Beckham Should Add To The Miami MLS Franchise
The Miami MLS team is expected to compete in American soccer's highest division someday, eventually, probably. Because of the proposed team's enviable location and its connection to David Beckham, some big names are already being associated with the team, which doesn't even have a name yet.
The18 thinks that not nearly enough big names are being associated with this team, in any capacity. In terms of players, coaches, celebrity fans, minority owners, hangers-on, spokespeople and what have you. So, we compiled a list of every person who should be associated with this team in some way, shape or form.
Dan Le Batard
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
Crockett and Tubbs
Former Miami Fusion manager and current Miami resident/Messi enthusiast Ray Hudson
Former Miami Fusion and Colombia standout/frizzy-haired wonderboy Carlos Valderrama
Pablo Mastroeni, who most associate with the Rapids but who also holds the appearance record for the Fusion, tied with ...
Diego Serna, who holds Miami’s appearance record as well as the goals and assists records.
Nick Rimando, who holds Miami’s clean-sheet record and is somehow still playing professional soccer in Salt Lake City
Kyle Beckerman, who played with the Fusion and is also somehow still playing professional soccer in Salt Lake City
Dennis Rodman (he just seems like he would be fun)
The guy from Burn Notice, whose name escapes me at the moment
Raylan Givens, who at the end of Justified was stationed in Miami
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (he'll get bored of LA and want to play somewhere else; no one gets the wanderlust like Zlatan)
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence's characters in "Bad Boys"
Christian Pulisic (ducks)
