Cristiano Ronaldo's Success Apparently Due To Being Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo says that self-belief carried him through his vein of bad form to start the season and into his current vein of incredible form.

Cristiano Ronaldo was in a bad way at the beginning of the season, with a suspension and some misfiring in front of goal helping to make many football fans think he might be just about washed up. But then Ronaldo turned things around, and has since reverted back into the fire-breathing, goal-scoring hair gel dragon we all know and have very strong opinions about.

How did he do it? By being Cristiano Ronaldo, of course.

Here's what Ronaldo said after winning Portugal's Player of the Year award (again):

“We should always believe we are the best.

"You need to think big. I always believe that nobody is better than me, out on the pitch at least.

"On a personal and collective level I have had a dream year. I won five trophies (Champions League, UEFA Supercup, World Club Cup, Spanish league title and the Spanish Supercup), the Ballon D'Or and the FIFA 'Best' title."

So there you have it, folks. All you have to to do become the best is believe you are Cristiano Ronaldo. It worked for him, and it can work for you too!
