I’ve watched soccer in British pubs, outdoor viewings in France, countless places across the USA, and even a stadium in Switzerland during the 2008 Euro Cup. When the whistle blows for kick off, it doesn’t matter what language you speak, what political views you have or where you’re from; the only important thing is you’re wearing the right colors and that you yell at the ref any time a call goes against your team.

For me, soccer is best expressed by the feeling you get when hugging someone you’ve never met after your favorite player finds the back of the net to give your team the win. At The18, I have the opportunity to create content that gives fans that same thrill every day of the week.
