Zlatan Likes Interviewing Himself So Much He Did It Again

Zlatan Ibrahimovic just can't get enough of playing journalist.

The PSG striker interviewed himself on Instagram before the first leg of the Champions League tie between PSG and Manchester City, and he liked the idea so much he did it again this week.

Given last week's less-than-desirable result (a 2-2 draw at home that left PSG essentially needing to win today to advance), both interviewer Zlatan and interviewee Zlatan toned it down this week, by which we mean the phrase "beautiful Zlatan goals" does not appear anywhere in the interview.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Interviews Himself: Part Deux

Q: Tonight, the quarterfinals in the Champions League continue as you face Manchester City away. The first match ended 2-2 and your opponents now have the opportunity to play on this result. What do you think of the match? Zlatan: It’s an open match where anything can happen. Q: Some of your key players are suspended (David Luiz and Matuidi), and although players like Veratti, Pastore and Trapp are on the squad, it’s not sure that they can play due to injuries. What are your thoughts on the squad tonight? Zlatan: Our squad is ready. Q: Compared to the first match, what do you need to improve tonight to eliminate City and advance to semifinal? Zlatan: We are not going to repeat the simple mistakes we did in the first match.

We were really hoping for more zip in this one. Apparently interviewee Zlatan has gone through media training with PSG's public relations staff so he doesn't say anything too terrobly interesting. As with last time, Zlatan was way friendlier with himself than he is with normal journalists.
