SCORPION KICK ALERT!
Yes, The18 gets fired up for a good scorpion kick as much as anyone. From Rene Higuita to this goalkeeper's stellar stoppage time equalizing scorpion kick, we can’t get enough of the acrobatic move that would leave the rest of us normal folk needing a visit to Massage Envy, if not the ER. Which is why we are bringing back a goal that needs to be relived every couple of years.
For those who have forgotten, or have never seen this scorpion kick video before, it was scored by Festus Baise during a first division match in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, it was by mistake and led to an own goal. But have we seen a scorpion kick enter the goal at the top corner? Nope. We thought we would resurface this goal not only to re-live the pure beauty of the scorpion kick, but also to bring up the awesome name that is "Festus Baise" (which, for our money, sounds like a chart-topping song from 1993).
