These German Youth Players Tried To Rob A Casino. It All Went Wrong In The Funniest Way Possible

Today in soccer players should stick to soccer news: three youth players for German team HSV (Hannover 96, not Hamburger SV) have been suspended after botching a casino robbery asbout as badly as you can botch a casino robbery.

That's right, we said casino robbery.

It was all a disaster from the start. The would-be robbers probably thought they were going to be cool and badass like this:

But their plot ended up more like this:

The trio did several things that we would classify as "dumbassery." First, they parked in a no-parking zone. They also used stolen license plates on their cars, so, when the police ran the plates after discovering the cars in the no parking zone, the plates came up stolen.

Then the police found ski masks and a gun in the trio's possession. It should be noted that the HSV three (the nickname we just made up for their criminal gang) didn't actualy follow through with their plan, chickening out at the last minute. This is the best decision they made during the whole thing. You shouldn't do crimes. Dumbasses.
