Paul Aguilar Celebrated His Goal By Diving Head-First Into A Wall

After the goal he scored Saturday, Paul Aguilar can celebrate however he wants. He scored the biggest goal in one of the biggest games of the year for his country, and that gives him a significant amount of leeway in terms of whether or not we make fun of his goal celebration.

And, it appears to us, Aguilar was so deliriously happy after the goal that he lost all sense of reason/safety/self-preservation.

I mean, to each their own and whatever, but that's probably not a good idea. Not only is jumping head-first into a barrier a bad idea, but, coupled with the fact that his teammates were guaranteed to jump on him in celebration as soon as he hit the ground, and the fact that there was still a bit of the game to be played and Mexico couldn't use a sub on him in the case of injury, it strikes us as a really bad idea.

People have been hurt from less-dangerous celebrations, and Paul Aguilar's personal safety was likely not the first thing on his mind there, but, come on man, use your head.

Oh, wait. He did.
