Nike Creates Another Must-Watch Ad

Nike has a knack for creating really long advertisements for soccer. You have the older ads such as the three-minute 'Write the Future' ad and the the three-minute 'Take It To The Next Level' ad. Then you look more recently and you have the stellar four-minute 'Winner Stays' ad and then the almost five and a half minute 'Last World Cup' ad.

The latest installment in time for Euro 2016 is titled "The Switch," in which Cristiano Ronaldo and a youngster named Charlie Lee switch bodies after a collision while little Charlie is a ball boy at a match. The commercial goes through Ronaldo fighting his way back to the international stage as Charlie, and Charlie honing in on his skills to actually be Cristiano Ronaldo.

The cameos are off the charts as nearly every big time Nike Soccer athlete makes an appearance. It was also requested by my co-worker, Sam Klomhaus to mention how weird it is that Cristiano sleeps with his earrings in. It could be weird, but I have feeling this is a more common thing than we think. Alas, as always, Wieden + Kennedy produced the ad with Ringan Ledwidge directing the longest spot that Nike has ever done.

The ad is for Nike's new line of boots.
