Maradona Calls Van Gaal The Devil, Unhappy About Falcao

Diego Maradona is currently in Colombia to play in an exhibition tournament named the "Game for Peace," but he seems to be waging war on Louis van Gaal of Manchester United.

In discussing van Gaal's use of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao this season, Maradona had this to say about the United manager: "Van Gaal is not a cool guy. He is closer to the devil than anything else."

Maradona is obviously a little biased as a fan of Falcao. He went on to say that had Falcao played at World Cup 2014, Colombia may have made it further than the quarterfinals.

"The World Cup was great and I think everyone felt Colombian at least for a while, when James or Cuadrado had the ball...If Falcao was there, Colombia may be celebrating their first WC glory."

Maradona didn't save his wrath for just the Dutch manager. He also attacked Sepp Blatter, saying he believes the upcoming FIFA elections are "a good chance to kick Blatter in the rear end."

Maradona went on to add that he thinks Sepp Blatter has "done a lot of damage to the game."

This isn't the first time – and it is very unlikely the last time – Maradona has spoken out against Blatter. For the upcoming FIFA election, Maradona supports FIFA vice president Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan.
