England were unceremoniously dumped out of Euro 2016 by a plucky, vastly underrated Iceland side, and now everyone in England is mad. They are mostly mad at Raheem Sterling (for no real good reason), but they are also mad at Harry Kane.
They are so mad someone made this very funny video of Harry Kane, who is a legitimately nice dude and doesn't deserve this, kicking set pieces in every direction except toward the goal.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say this is the worst England performance in recent history. After all: Wayne Rooney.
It isn't Harry Kane's fault he's so overhyped. It's yours, fans and media members with outsize expectations. England aren't world beaters anymore. That's why no good England players play in the other big European leagues. The other big European teams don't want them.
England got exactly as far at Euro 2016 as they should have gotten, and that's a hard thing for the English to accept. They just can't fathom that England might not be as great as they think it is. Just ask the rest of Europe.
