We have to hand it to Cristiano Ronaldo, he's much braver than us.
Ronaldo showed up at Conor McGregor's gym in Las Vegas and took some pictures and put them on Instagram.
McGregor, if it isn't obvious, punches and kicks people for a living. He is very good at it.
We would not get in the ring with Conor McGregor for any reason, even if it was just to take a picture. If Conor McGregor ever raised his fists to us like in a fighting stance, we would not go into a fighting stance back. We would run away so fast we would make a cloud of dust like the Roadrunner.
But Cristiano Ronaldo is not us. Obviously.
This begs the question: who would win in an actual fight? We have to assume that any professional fighter would beat up any professional soccer player, but stranger things have happened. We could see McGregor messing up Ronaldo's hair or breaking Ronaldo's nose and Ronaldo becoming so enraged that he just picks McGregor up and tosses him out of the ring, WWE-style.
We'll probably never get to find out, though.
